About Sliding Puzzle
The Sliding Puzzle is a version of the famous sliding number puzzle (the 15 puzzle): a board of mixed-up numbered tiles with one empty space, and every move slides an adjacent tile into the gap. Your goal is to put the numbers in ascending order from smallest to largest.
The 3×3 board is a gentle start for beginners, 4×4 is the classic version, and 5×5 takes patience and planning. The puzzle is always shuffled using valid moves, so every board can be solved no matter how complicated it looks.
📖 How to play
- Choose the size: easy 3×3, medium 4×4, or hard 5×5.
- Tap a tile next to the empty space to slide it there.
- Arrange the numbers in ascending order row by row, with the empty space in the last cell.
- Keep an eye on the time and the number of moves at the top. The fewer, the better.
💡 Tips for winning and earning more points
- Complete the first row, then the second row, and don't move what you have already arranged.
- The last two rows are solved together by rotating tiles around the empty space.
- Finishing quickly gives you 5 bonus points: under 120 seconds on 3×3, 160 seconds on 4×4, and 200 seconds on 5×5.
